PT BMW Indonesia formally launched the 7 Series models assembled in Indonesia, 730Li, BMW facility in Production Network 2, Sunter, Jakarta, Wednesday, November 30, 2016.
Sedan on the board has a capacity of 1998 cc engine with a maximum output power equivalent of 258 horsepower (hp) at 4,000 rpm spin rate meskn and peak torque of 400 Nm at rpm 2.000-2.5000.
"Since 2011, BMW started production activities in Indonesia and to date has invested more than 210 billion investment to increase the number of BMW vehicles assembled locally in Indonesia," said Managing Director of BMW Asia, Axel Pannes, in his speech.
All New BMW 730Li are assembled at BMW facility Production Network 2, which is managed by PT Gaya Motor, a business unit under PT Astra International Tbk, a business partner of BMW Group in Indonesia.
The facility has a capacity of assembling up to six units per day All New 730Li and BMW has provided specialized training to the workforce at the facility in order to maintain consistency of high quality standards of BMW.
The Ministry of Industry through the Directorate General of Metal, Machinery, Transportation Equipment and Eletronika (Ilmate), welcomed the assembly of the all-new BMW 730Li in Indonesia.
"It shows the commitment and tangible evidence Indonesia as one of BMW's main markets in Asia," said Director General Ilmate I Gusti Putu Suryawirawan.
BMW has not announced official pricing All New 730Li newly opened ordering will begin in February 2017.
